Two dead in Toronto triple shooting

TORONTO – The Toronto Police are investigating after two people died in a shooting outside an apartment building near Jane and Eglinton early Saturday morning.

Police say they responded to a report of gunshots on Emmett Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. on June 29.

When officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. One mad died at the scene.

EMS rushed the second man to the hospital but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. A third man made his way to a local hospital and is being treated for gunshot wounds. His injuries are considered serious but non-life threatening.

The Toronto Police Homicide Division is investigating the incident and has not released any further details.
