VANCOUVER (NEWS1130): Olympic organizers are clearing up some confusion over the transportation network between Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler. VANOC assures travellers they will not be stranded.
VANOC is urging Olympic fans to visit only one venue per day, and give yourself plenty of travel time. But VANOC Vice President Terry Wright says people who choose to see more than one event in a single day will not be left without a ride home. “If someone is travelling to the same venue for two events, they are able to come back on the Olympic Bus Network.”
Wright says staff at the two call centres VANOC is using to book trips up the Sea to Sky Highway have received additional training and there should be no further confusion.
