Finnish hockey squad adds Salo to Olympic lineup

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Sami Salo will be sticking around Vancouver during the NHL’s Olympic break.
Daniel and Henrik Sedin were named to Sweden’s team. Pavol Demitra was put on the Slokavian squad, yesterday. Roberto Luongo will be named to Canada, and now Sami Salo is heading to the Olympics. The Canucks defenceman will be one of Finland’s seven defencemen competing in February in Vancouver. Salo has three goals and 8 points in 33 games this season, while missing a bunch of time with injuries.
