Canada’s Olympic Ambassador named

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Former Olympian and current Senator Nancy Greene Raine is Canada’s Olympic Ambassador for the Games. As ambassador, Greene Raine will participate in Torch Relay celebrations, attend events at the Canada Pavilion and represent our Government at the Games.
She won gold and silver medals in alpine skiing at the 1968 Grenoble Winter Games and has 14 World Cup victories – which is a Canadian record.
