Olympic gear a hot seller

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Capitalizing on Olympic hype and Canadian spirit… We’ve been busy shopping and catching up on sales at the Olympic superstore downtown.
You want it, they have got it. The Bay’s regional sales manager has assured us they’ve stocked up on mittens and hoodies. He looks like a proud father as he watches 22 cashiers process Olympic sales and as stoked customers, like this woman, spend, “I’m buying the mittens because I’ve been waiting about three months for these mittens and I want to have a pair for everyone in the family. We’re gonna wear them next year and the year after. We’re going to keep wearing them anyway cause we’re Canadian.”
While it already looks like Boxing Day at The Bay, they expect it to be a zoo once the Games begin. Then, Canadians won’t be the only ones shopping for the desirable red.
