Alpine events postponed at Whistler

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The men’s super combined race has been postponed due to heavy snowfall on the course overnight according to VANOC.

After several days of disruption to the program due to adverse weather, mostly heavy snowfall on the men’s and women’s runs, the men finally opened the Olympic alpine program with a downhill on Monday.

But this morning, people were turned around as they tried to board the bus for Whistler. VANOC says anyone holding bus or event tickets today will be able to use them for the rescheduled events.
