Attempted abduction in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK (NEWS1130) – Chilliwack Mounties are investigating an attempted abduction.  At around 6 p.m. Saturday, a 14-year-old girl was walking south on Gibson Road when a vehicle pulled up beside her.

A man grabbed her arm and told her to get in.  She was able to get away and call the police.  The suspect is described as Caucasian, 45-year-old, around 5’6″ tall, with an athletic build.  He had long grey hair, with a deep sounding voice, wearing a black hoodie, grey sweat pants with paint on them.

The vehicle is an older, red model with two doors and the passenger side mirror is missing.  If you have any information you are asking to call Chilliwack RCMP at 604.702.4017.
