Accident closes Marine Way at Kerr

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Marine Way eastbound at Kerr and Boundary southbound at Rumble have been closed since early Thursday afternoon. A semi truck collided with at least two other cars and hit a light standard.
Gaston called News1130 and said the scene was quite a mess. “There is debris all across the road, they have haz-mat crew out there, a couple of fire trucks and ambulances. A lot of stuff is happening it’s really bad.”
He adds some people were doing anything they could not to get caught in the back-up. “A lot of people cracking doughnuts on Marine, that’s the way I was coming I was headed east bound on Marine. A lot of people turning around on the road, it was a little sketchy because other vehicles are coming towards you when they’re trying to do a doughnut in the middle of the road.”
