What’s in your bottled water?

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The tap or plastic?  Turns out bottled may not be best. New research reveals the water you pay for at the store might in fact, be filled with floaties.

They are the kind you can’t see but Canadian researchers who tested name-brand varieties of bottled water were pretty much shocked to discover that in some cases bacteria counts were a hundred times allowable limits.

The info is causing some disgust from those we’re telling on city streets. But there are those we’re speaking with who drink from the bottle only as a last resort. “If I’m travelling, like in another country, but normally I don’t bother.”

The bacteria researchers are talking about isn’t normally a problem for healthy people. Health Canada figures bacteria will occur naturally in bottled water, just like it does in most foods.
