World Cup Monday wrap up: Spain, Chile and Portugal winners

SOUTH AFRICA – Spain appears to be back on track at the World Cup.  David Villa scored both goals in a 2-0 victory over Honduras.  Spain lost its opening match to Switzerland.  Spain has three points and still has a chance to win Group H.

Mark Gonzalez had the lone goal in Chile’s 1-0 win over Switzerland.  And Portugal revived its World Cup campaign with a 7-0 rout of North Korea.  It was the most one-sided World Cup match since Germany routed Saudi Arabia 8-0 in 2002.
