No TV remote? iPhone to the rescue

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Your phone is your calendar, camera, mini-computer, and now it can be your TV remote control.
AJ Gratton with TELUS says customers will be able to record, manage and delete content on their DVR with their iPhone. “It’s pretty user friendly. Really, what you see for your application is very similar to what you would see in your living room looking at your program guide.”
Gratton says the technology will soon be made available on Blackberries and Androids as well.
The app is free and available for download on Apple iTunes App Store.
