Waterski Nationals wrap up in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) – You can see some incredible aquatic acrobatics today, as the National Waterski Championship wraps up at Albert Dyck Park in Abbotsford.
Tim McKnight with Waterski Wakeboard B.C. says the Canadians hold their own when it comes to waterskiing. “We had world championships in Calgary last year, and won it. So our athletes who will be coming to these Nationals were at that event, and we’ve been known to be one of the best teams in the world.”
He says there will be a strong local presence at the competition as well.
