Daytime highs and overnight lows make sleeping unbearable for most

How are you sleeping?

The heat wave is resulting in some draggy, sleep-deprived folks.  Temperatures at night have stayed sticky and humid, making a good night’s rest hard to come by.

Afternoon temperatures have easily reached the mid-30s and overnight temperatures are bottoming out around 22 degrees Celsius.  By comparison, the day time high in Vancouver Tuesday was just 15 degrees.

Major retailers have been sold out of ‘beat the heat’ essentials like fans and air conditioner units for a while now.  Most told News95.7 there are no plans to re-stock them.

They are now looking forward to the next bothersome season, when folks will be clambering for snow blowers.
