Charges of vehicular homicide laid in a fatal crash on Whidbey Island

WHIDBEY ISLAND (NEWS1130) – The driver that triggered a deadly crash on Whidbey Island that killed a man from North Vancouver and injured his pregnant wife has been charged with vehicular homicide.

Three people were killed and three were injured in the head-on crash a week ago.

It was said the driver was taking off her sweater as her passenger took the wheel. Court papers also say heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and handgun were found in the SUV after the crash.
