VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – As people get ready to fix up their homes over the weekend, more than 500,000 books are being recalled because of faulty wiring instructions.
Seventeen titles from Oxmoor House give instructions on how to repair or install electrical wiring, but could pose a shock or fire hazard.
So far, no one has been hurt, but people who own the books are being asked to contact the publisher for a full refund. The books were sold in home improvement and book stores from 1995 to 2005. They are currently not being printed, but could still be in people’s homes.
You can find a list of the titles here.
