Some city folk say the Fraser Valley smells

By

CHILLIWACK (NEWS1130) – It’s city mouse vs. country mouse.  Some folks moving from the city to the Fraser Valley are having a tough time adjusting to the smell.  The Province newspaper reports even the mayor’s office in Chilliwack has been getting calls from people driving through complaining about the “farm fresh” smell.

The population in the Valley has exploded with city folk moving to cheaper and greener pastures — those
greener pastures are some of Canada’s best farmland.

The paper reports Surrey has resorted to warning people about “noise smells [and] dust” if they want to build next to farmland.
