VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – People living in the neighbourhood of East 30th Avenue and Fraser Street woke up to sirens around two o’clock Saturday morning. Several fire trucks were dispatched to help put out a house fire.
One man who lives next door to the home that burned to the ground says, “It smells like the biggest campfire you’ve ever been around. It’s quite something to wake up to, hearing sirens crashing towards your house.”
Even though crews worked quickly to put out the blaze, they couldn’t save the house.
