Canucks shake Leafs 5-3

TORONTO (NEWS1130) – Mason Raymond’s fourth goal of the season in the third period broke a 3-3 tie as the Vancouver Canucks went on to a 5-3 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at the Air Canada Centre.

The two teams were tied 2-2 after one period and 3-3 after two.

Ryan Kesler had a pair of goals for the Canucks, including a power-play marker that put them ahead 3-2. Daniel Sedin’s 11th of the season put Vancouver on the board after the Leafs had taken a 2-0 lead. Dan Hamhuis scored into the empty net with 50 seconds left in the game. Alex Edler, Mike Samuelsson and Henrik Sedin had a pair of assists.

The two teams were even in shots on goal with 32.
