Holiday bus shuttle from Chilliwack to Burnaby

CHILLIWACK (NEWS1130) – It’s just a test for the holidays right now, but a Fraser Valley bus service hopes it will be much more in the future. This weekend another option will open up for people wanting to travel from Chilliwack to Metrotown in Burnaby.
Steve Voteary, owner of Metro Porter says there will be a stop in Abbotsford. “Leaving the Valley at 9:30 a.m., we are doing day shopping trips over to Metrotown for Christmas shopping.”
If you reserve online through the company’s website it will cost $25 return or $30 if you show up at the Downtown Chilliwack or Abbotsford transit exchange. “People are constantly looking for connections into Metro Vancouver for shopping and working and basic discretionary travel.”
Voteary adds if all goes well he’d like to extend the service.
