Two arrested in baseball bat attack

NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A 17-year-old and an 18-year-old have been arrested in connection with a brutal assault in North Vancouver Friday morning.

Two men from the Squamish Nation were attacked with a baseball bat, one ending up with a fractured skull, and bleeding on the brain.

The suspects, who both live in North Vancouver, are now in custody. They will likely face charges for aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

Police are crediting members of the Squamish Nation for helping identify who was responsible for the attack.
