Restaurants open for your Christmas dinner needs

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – With the big day finally here, perhaps you’ve decided to take a load off for dinner.  There are some restaurants that are actually open today doing the work for you.

Check out Yaletown’s 100 Days in the Opus Hotel, which is open until 3 a.m. Sunday.  They’ll be dishing out three-course Christmas meals for $35, including dessert.

Lise Magee with O’Doul’s says every year their place is packed with people also enjoying a three or four course meal, while kids eat for $25.  “Things like jumbo Qualicum beach scallops for appetizers or farmed duck confit.  And we also offer traditional turkey as a main, or salmon, or we have a vegetarian course, a wild mushroom ravioli.”

You can also head to the Teahouse in Stanley Park which is open, offering great decorations and Christmas caroling.
