Spend Christmas Day skating at Robson Square

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It could become a new Christmas tradition in Vancouver. It’s a busy day for skating at Robson Square.
One man News1130 talked to says he has not put his skates on for 15 years. “We thought we’d go here at least once to say we did it.”
This woman says, “Every other day, it’s incredibly busy, so hoping today might be a little dead, and it is.”
Another one adds, “When everything is closed, it’s a nice activity to do.”
And for the tourists from Brazil we spoke with, it might be the next best thing to this, “I’d love to see snow, but there is no snow.”
The free skating runs until 5 tonight.
