VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – There was a snowfall warning yesterday, but the snow never arrived.
Meteorologist Russ Lacate explains, “One half of one degree was about as far as the temperature needed to drop yesterday to get the snow started, and it never quite happened. The arctic air kept retreating inland as the light rain came ashore.”
He tells us, “All night, and even this morning it’s been rain, sleet, and slush, even with that temperature hovering around the freezing mark.”
More rain is on the way today. Listen to traffic and weather every 10 minutes on the ones.
