Free blood pressure clinic opens in Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Keeping your blood pressure in check just got a little easier!
A new community blood pressure clinic has opened its doors in the Fairview neighbourhood at Granville and 10th Ave.
Dave Wallack with Emergency Medical Services says it is all about prevention. “If screen a person, and their blood pressure is not within the norm, we can advise them to seek medical help prior to that 911 call. We’re trying to active a proactive approach.”
He says checking your blood pressure regularly can help ward off cardiac arrests. The free clinic will be open on the last Saturday of every month.
