VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A 50-year-old BC-based chain of restaurants has changed hands.

Mr. Mikes has been bought by RAMMP Hospitality, led by former Boston Pizza executive Mike Cordoba. It paid an undisclosed price for Mr. Mikes and its 19 locations in BC and Alberta.

The chain was founded by two brothers, Bob and Nick Constabaris, in 1960. The first location was on Granville Street in Vancouver.

RAMMP bought the Pantry chain of restaurants from its founders last April. In both cases, the objective is to revitalize a longstanding group and expand in Western Canada. The company also bought the four Rockwell’s Grill & Bar restaurants last year.
