Bunny coins from Royal Canadian Mint

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Royal Canadian Mint is celebrating Chinese New Year with some special events this weekend.
It’s the year of the rabbit, and Alex Reeves says you’ll be able to make your very own rabbit coin at their store on Granville Street this weekend. “We have something called a hammer strike, which is a traditional, very old-fashioned way of striking coins. People will be able to strike their own special year of the rabbit medallion from a solid copper blank.”
There’s also a draw to win an 18-karat Gold Lunar Hologram coin, worth over $600.
