Huge turnover at City Hall

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Seventy-five per cent of Vancouver City Hall’s senior management personnel have left office since Gregor Robertson became mayor in 2008.

That’s what Mike Klassen claims on his website CityCaucus.com.

He says it’s a staggering number of people and chalking it up to a lot of retirements just doesn’t cut it.  “What we’re seeing is a bit of a change in philosophy and Vision Vancouver moving a lot more, sort of, political people into key roles at the city.”

Klassen adds there haven’t been that many people leaving those kinds of senior positions in decades.

Vancouver City Hall is expected to reply to the claims sometime this morning.
