LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Grammy Awards were held, Sunday, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Music reporter Rudy Blair, who attended the awards show, had spent time backstage at the venue speaking with celebrities and past Grammy winners.

R&B recording artist Keri Hilson, who has written music for Britney Spears, told Blair she would love to write a country album.

“I’ve talked about this with the writers of Carrie Underwood’s ‘Before He Cheats.’ I was amazed by hearing that record and we talked about doing something in country,” she said.

Musician John Waite, who was promoting his new album, “Rough and Tumble,” had some advice for new Grammy nominees.

“You should enjoy the hell out of it for what it is, and just have a great time,” he said.

Twelve-time Grammy winner, Herbie Hancock, who looks much younger than his 70 years of age, told 680News his secret to keeping young.

‘I’ve been practicing Buddhism for almost 40 years, it makes me able to handle pressures. Stress is one of the things that puts lines on your forehead,” he said.
