Preliminary court appearances in Surrey murder trial

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – There were preliminary court appearances today for the three people accused in the brutal killing of a mother of three from Surrey in 2007.
The RCMP says Amanpreet Bahia died violently in her kitchen, while caring for two of her youngest.
Charged with first degree murder are realtor Tanpreet Athwal and Amanpreet’s husband Baljinder. A third person, Edward Baronec, is also charged, but police won’t confirm how he might be connected.
