Tories say now isn’t a good time to hold federal election

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – On the federal level, we continue to hear rumblings of a possible spring election, if the opposition parties decide to vote against the upcoming budget.

Abbotsford MP Ed Fast says there’s a good possibility we could be headed that way.

Fast thinks this would be the worst time for that to happen. “We’re just coming out of the worst economic crisis the world has seen since World War 2, and here we have opposition parties trying to play games.”

The feds release the budget March 22nd and if it is defeated by the other parties, we’ll have our fourth election in seven years.
