VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The BC Utilities Commission has suspended hearings on the subject, as it’s not convinced that the power company needs to spend six-billion dollars over the next three years. That was the reason for the potential increase.
The Commission has decided to look at the issue again April 8th.
A spokesperson with BC Hydro tells News1130 that while he couldn’t comment on the subject Monday night, a statement will soon be released.
