Canucks second-round playoff challenge begins tonight!

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Tickets for the Canucks’ second round of the playoffs are now on sale. The series begins tonight at Rogers Arena at 6 p.m.

“Usually the first couple of games are pretty reasonable,” says Kingsley Bailey with Vancouver Ticket Service.

While the Canucks say single home game tickets against the Predators will start at $117, Bailey thinks most people will pay at least double for the first couple of games. “They probably start off right now at about the $225-250 range for the first two games.”

“If we did go to a game five where we’re about to close them out — you know, up 3-1 — the price will probably go a little bit higher than that,” he speculates. “This is just based on previous history.”

Plus, all fans are back on the bandwagon. “It’s exciting!” says Bailey. “If they continue to play like the way they played in game seven and in game one and two… We are going to be in for a very long haul.”

He says people should act fast because he thinks there won’t be many tickets and they will sell out quickly.
