Britco Structures bought by WesternOne Equity Income Fund

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Langley-based modular building maker Britco is being bought by a Vancouver-based income trust.

Britco Structures and its leasing division are being acquired by WesternOne Equity Income Fund. The price is $93 million in cash, most of it in a new debt offering.

Britco makes construction trailers, worksite housing, temporary offices, sales centres, kiosks, and storage containers. It employs about 300 people at factories in Agassiz and Penticton.

The company was founded in 1977 and by David Taft and Rick McClymont.
