VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – From sprays to lotions to candles: We’ve all tried something to get those bloodsucking mosquitoes to leave us alone.
There’s a new discovery that could make them buzz off for good!
It’s one of the biggest breakthroughs in years, and could lead to new repellent sprays and lotions. Scientists in California have created a gas that can mess up their senses and makes it almost impossible for mosquitoes to sniff out human blood.
But don’t get too excited just yet; the researchers say the chemical still has to be tested to make sure it’s safe for humans. Until then, happy slapping!
