Green Men making an announcement this morning

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Green Men are hosting a rally today downtown for their many fans and will be making some kind of big announcement. News1130 had a chat with Sully and Force and tried to get the scoop.
While they won’t tell us exactly what they’ll be revealing at today’s news conference, Sully says it’ll be “epic.”
“We’re expecting a great turnout at Robson Square at 11:45 this morning,” he says. “There’s going to be media from across North America there. We’re expecting hundreds of fans to show up.”
“There might even be a few celebrities as well; we’re hearing Jack Selleck, Tom’s brother may make an appearance,” he jokes. “So, we’re looking forward to that.
The pair has gained media attention ever since they first donned the green spandex and started harassing players in the visitor’s penalty box.
“As far as I know, we are the first mascots to ever call our own press conference,” says Force. “That just proves how ridiculous this whole thing is!”
Force also took a joking stab at Vancouver’s orca mascot. “I believe Fin had a press conference a couple of years back over the whole steroids scandal, but this is ground-breaking.”
