T & T Supermarket website hacked

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130 ) – Hackers may now have access to the personal information for 60-thousand T&T Supermarket customers.The company is warning people who used T&T’s website this month.
Anyone who applied for a job online or placed an order for in-store pick up may have been directed to another website without knowing. That means their e mail addresses, street addresses and phone numbers all could be in the hacker’s hands right now.
Sandra Creighton with T&T says the good news is they don’t collect any credit card information online. “We have shut down right now. Immediately we engaged external as well as internal I-T security experts.”
No word yet on when the website will be back up. Creighton is also warning people to watch out for phishing scams – the company will not be sending emails out to customers.
