Be patient as posties clear mail backlog

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Posties are back on their regular beat today after a one-month long dispute at Canada Post. But did you miss getting your mail?
The majority of people managed to get by during the strike, but there were some casualties. We spoke with Josh, who’s in charge of a small software consulting company.
And he really missed getting his mail with the stoppage in service. “Oh, greatly! I run a small business and we rely on cheques in the mail and it really hurt us, even though it was a short period of time.”
While another man we chatted with said he didn’t really notice the difference. “Here and there, but didn’t have too many important documents coming in the last month, so it worked out for me.”
Mail service is resuming today, Canadians are being asked to be patient as workers try to clear the massive backlog.
