VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – We here in Vancouver may like our Starbucks coffee, but a recent national survey says when it comes to fast food, Tim Hortons comes out on top.
The Technomic survey looked at the top 200 Canadian restaurants and found the fast food industry accounts for $25 billion or about 60 per cent of all restaurant sales in the country. Tim Hortons is the top chain in the country with Canadians spending an average of $150 per person every year.
McDonalds was number two followed by Subway and Starbucks.
