AGASSIZ (NEWS1130) – Abbotsford Police are urging you to call them if you saw a head-on crash between a police cruiser and a car late Tuesday night in Agassiz.

Cst. Ian MacDonald says they believe they’ve found everyone involved. “The work that still has to be done is to actually conduct interviews with those individuals and get statements from them.”

A 20-year-old man driving the car was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries. His 19-year-old passenger is in serious condition. The police officer has been released from hospital.

The officer was on a call and police are still checking whether the wrecked cruiser’s lights and sirens were on.
