BC Lions continue to make changes

By

VANCOUVER, BC (NEWS1130) – BC Lions coach and general manager Wally Buono is not sitting pat with a roster that has started the CFL season with five straight losses.

Buono will call the agent for import running-back Arkee Whitlock who was cut by the Edmonton Eskimos over the weekend.  Whitlock had been offered to the Lions in a trade that didn’t materialize, and Buono will now go after him that he’s a free agent.

The Lions also have import running back Dennis Kennedy from Akron, Ohio in town for a look.  Kennedy will be at practice today.  Buono also admits he is talking trade with some teams as he tries to improve his team.

The Lions go looking for their first win of the season on Friday night at home against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
