Fatal stabbing on Gabriola Island

GABRIOLA ISLAND (NEWS1130) – A man has been arrested after a deadly double stabbing on Gabriola Island. A woman was stabbed to death and her 18-year old son was critically hurt.

Nanaimo RCMP say the victim was found just after 5 p.m. yesterday in a home near the ferry terminal. Her son was found in another house on the same property.

Mounties arrested Jason Daniel Cramer, 37, for murder. The victims have been identified as Elaine and Trevor Schwarz.
