Steve Jobs’ legacy at Apple

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The sudden resignation of Steve Jobs as Apple CEO has rocked the business world. But what does the future look like for one of the world’s most powerful companies?
Vancouver tech journalist Akash Soblock says the attitude and ambience that Jobs created filtered its way down.
“Even up to the packaging, the website, customer service everywhere…he’ll still be the Chairman of the Board and he’ll definitely have an input on a day to day basis.”
Soblok believes Jobs set a goal for what Apple would represent in the technology industry.
“Not only the way that the products look and feel, but also the way they’re designed, built, and manufactured. A further example is the stores, they have a feel to them that invites people in to look and shop around.”
He believes the products that will be released soon will still have Jobs’ influence.
Tim Cook will be taking over as CEO.
