The Canadians kick off the Northwest League final tonight

By

PASCO, WA  (NEWS1130) – The Northwest League Baseball Championship Series kicks off tonight as the Vancouver Canadians are on the road to play the Tri-City Dust Devils.

It has not been an easy road to the finals for Vancouver; they lost five of their last six regular season games, and they also lost the opener of the Western final before beating Eugene in three games.

This is the first time since 2005 that the C’s are in the finals while the Dust Devils are making their second appearance in the past three seasons. The two teams met ten times in the regular season, both teams winning five times each.

Game two goes at Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver tomorrow night and if a third game is required, it will be played Sunday afternoon in Vancouver.

Game time tonight is at 7:15 p.m.
