Spotting and avoiding being burned out

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – You can save yourself and your colleagues a lot of grief by catching signs of a burnout early on.

Gregg Stebben with Men’s Health Magazine says a burnout is pretty easy to spot.  “Take a look at yourself and say, ‘Am I tending to my personal appearance as well as I used to or am I getting sloppy about how I take care of my hair?'”

He explains the fix is to start eating right, buy some new clothes and even take a fashion risk.  Stebben thinks the way you feel when you get pulled over by police is the same way you should feel about your boss.

“Part of it is ‘I don’t care about what anybody thinks because I’m burned out,’ and if you don’t care that’s going to boil down to things as simple as your personal appearance, that’s a great red flag,” adds Stebben.
