It is another sign that Apple is the dominant force in the cell phone world and that Research In Motion is in big trouble.
The iPhone 4 is now the most popular phone in Canada.
RIM still holds a big piece of the Canadian cell phone pie, with more than 2.75 million Canadians using various BlackBerry devices.
However, according to numbers put out by comSCORE Inc, three quarters of a million Canadians use the iPhone 4, making it the most used mobile phone in the country.
Apple seems to have had the biggest effect on mobile users between the ages of 25 – 34. Four of the top five most popular phones for that age category were versions of the iPhone. RIM’s BlackBerry Bold 9700 landed in third place.
