VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It’s the middle of the work week and it’s also What’s Happening Wednesday. From films to frights we have ideas to spice up your nights.

Catherine Barr, the editor of West Vancouver says the Vancouver International Film Festival wraps up on Friday.

“While it lacks some of the Hollywood glamour of Toronto, it makes up for in substance. And you can see these films for as little as $15.00.”

Fright Nights at the PNE is on this weekend and Barr says you can now combine your love for Halloween and hockey.

“What’s extra special about Friday is if you purchase a Vancouver Giants ticket, you can get $10.00 admission to Fright Night after the game”

And the Ghost Train runs every night all month in Stanley Park.
