Steve Jobs’ bio describes him as perfectionist

CUPERTINO, CA. (NEWS1130) – It could very well be the biggest selling book of the fall and it hits store shelves today.  Steve Jobs:  A Biography, is a deep look into the life of the former Apple co-founder’s life.  One observer calls it, ‘a beyond the grave call for jihad against Google.’

Jobs is described as very persuasive.  Author Walter Isaacson says there was a distortion of reality surrounding Jobs.  But in the end, Isaacson tells ABC’s Nightline, that didn’t always work.  “When he willfully didn’t want to believe something, most notably, when he got diagnosed with cancer and he just didn’t really want to deal with it.  [He] thought he could deal with it through diet rather than having an operation.”

The book also details how Jobs was a perfectionist.  At times, he was known to be either really hard on people but also “awesomely charismatic.”  “Steve, when he walked into a room could make you believe the impossible.”

We also now know that Jobs went to his grave feeling incredible anger towards Google, calling the company’s Android technology “a grand theft of the iPhone.”

Jobs died earlier this month at the age of 56.
