Vancouver is the top chocolate spot in the world

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The chocolate buffet at Vancouver’s Sutton Place is now considered the top place to get chocolate in the world, according to National Geographic.
The hotel’s Fleuri restaurant goes all out three nights a week, offering up an all you can eat smorgasbord of homemade cakes, pastries and pies…all chocolate themed. It’s renowned also for its Brittany crepes, made right before the eyes of very lucky patrons. Chocolate-tinged drinks add to the experience.
National Geographic also gives high points for the setting, calling it reminiscent of a European stately home.
Fleuri beat out New York’s Magnolia bakery, featured on an episode of Sex in the City. It wound up second. The buffet also topped chocolate houses in England and France.
Max Brenner in New York, Maya Chocolate in Tabasco, Mexico and Sachertorte in Vienna, Austria round out the top five.
