Shots fired at strip club in Surrey

SURREY (NEWS1130) – Surrey RCMP have closed off the parking lot at the G-Spot Lounge on King George Boulevard after shots were fired at the building.

Inspector Dan Splinter says initially, no one reported the shooting. “Our members attended there on a routine basis around closing time and they were informed when they attended that they were asked if they were responding to a shots fired complaint. They said no, they hadn’t received a complaint.”

Police say a number of shots were fired, but no one was hit. Splinter adds it is too early to say if this was a targeted hit.

The police will be interviewing witnesses and staff throughout the day.
