TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (12,037.59, down 2.80 points):

Uranium One Inc. (TSX:UUU). Miner. Down 13 cents, or 4.66 per cent, at $2.66 on 10,152,890 shares.

Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM). Oil and gas. Up seven cents, or 0.56 per cent, at $12.49 on 7,774,069 shares.

Iamgold Corp. (TSX:IMG). Miner. Down 27 cents, or 2.13 per cent, at $12.41 on 7,729,189 shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Down 32 cents, or 2.11 per cent, at $14.82 on 6,650,960 shares.

Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:PWT). Oil and gas. Down one cent, or 0.06 per cent, at $16.95 on 5,659,015 shares.

Cline Mining Corp. (TSX:CMK). Miner. Up four cents, or 3.96 per cent, at 1.05 on 5,279,706 shares.

TSX Venture Exchange (1,432.45, down 27.48 points):

Calibre Mining Corp. (TSXV:CXB). Miner. Down 18.5 cents, or 43.02 per cent, at 24.5 cents on 9,078,590 shares.

Groundstar Resources Ltd. (TSXV:GSA). Miner. Down half a cent, or 12.50 per cent, at 3.5 cents on 4,510,500 shares.

Companies reporting major news:

CAE Inc. (TSX:CAE). Flight simulators, training. Up 25 cents, or 2.50 per cent, at $10.26 on 1,456,190 shares. CAE said it has won more than $950 million in military orders in fiscal 2012, including a $170 million in contracts announced with Brunei on Monday.

Nexen Inc. (TSX:NXY). Oil and gas. Up 16 cents, or 0.87 per cent, at $18.46 on 2,230,520 shares. The company said production at its troubled Long Lake oilsands project is improving and that regulatory approvals have been secured for expansions to its projects in northern Alberta.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Up 36 cents, or 1.18 per cent, at $30.81 on 3,132,660 shares. The company said an upgrader at its vast oilsands mine north of Fort McMurray, Alta., has returned to normal operation after month-long repairs to a fractionator.
